The Injury Outcomes Network (ION) is a leading multidisciplinary laboratory focusing on epidemiology, basic science and systematic solutions in trauma and stroke care. The ION is led by Dr. David Bar-Or, who is presently the director of trauma at six level I trauma centers. ION is comprised of partnering medical doctors, nurses, toxicologists, molecular biologists, computational biologists, and epidemiologists working collaboratively to produce evidence-based solutions to improve care for trauma and stroke patients across the globe.
