Congrats to MCP for becoming an ACS accredited Level I trauma center!

We would like to congratulate Medical City Plano (formerly The Medical Center of Plano) for their successful American College of Surgeons (ACS) review and new distinction as an ACS accredited level I trauma center!  Trauma centers are designated as levels 1 through 4 by the ACS, with level 1 centers providing the most comprehensive level of care. MCP was a verified level 2 trauma center prior to this successful review in 2017.

There were many people who worked tirelessly to receive this important distinction, but a special thanks goes out to the leadership of Dr. Matthew Carrick, Trauma Medical Director and Dr. David Bar-Or, Trauma Research Director!
